The mission of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Alliance of Black School Educators, Inc., is to promote and facilitate the education of all students, African-American students in particular.  Our goals are to establish a coalition of African-American educators and others directly or indirectly involved in the educational process; to create a forum for the exchange of ideas and strategies to improve educational opportunities for African-American people; to identify and professionally develop African-American educators; and to influence public policy concerning the education of African-American people.

 

During the month of May, an award of honor will be presented to individuals in recognition of their outstanding achievements and contributions to their school sites, consistent with the goals of MMABSE.  School administrators/staff are invited to recommend one individual from your building, who in your opinion, deserves special recognition for his/her achievements and contributions to the staff, students, parents and school as a whole. 

 

Please review the criteria for nomination and provide a written rationale as to why you feel it will be important to recognize this individual.  One teacher per building will be recognized if name is submitted.  School administrator must inform the individual nominated.  Send your completed nomination form to MMABSE Teacher Recognition Committee.
