Membership Categories

MMABSE offers three categories of membership. Any individual, corporation or institution that supports the enhancement of children of African descent, our mission, is eligible for membership. As a MMABSE member, you will be part of a vibrant and growing network of professionals working in educational systems throughout the country. MMABSE membership represents the best and brightest educators in school systems in the Metropolitan Milwaukee area.  Our members share a deep commitment to improving educational opportunities and achievement within the African American community.

Individual Membership

Educators, instructors, school/district administrators and related constituents, retirees, parents, community members, and superintendents are eligible for individual membership. Annual dues for individual membership varies with member status. Please refer to the membership form to determine member status.

Institutional/Corporate Membership

This membership category affords the opportunity for substantive involvement in the mission and programs of the Alliance.   MMABSE provides a unique partnership opportunity for corporations and institutions to support the development of cooperative, innovative public-private strategies to enhance educational outcomes in the African American community and therein improve the quality of tomorrow's leaders.

For a number of years, private industry has recognized the vital importance of high quality public education in building tomorrow's workforce and ensuring the health of our communities today.  Educational institutions throughout the country are eligible including state departments of education, local education agencies, offices of education and research, and institutions of higher education.

The annual membership fee for Institutional/Corporate membership is only $500.

• Opportunity to access an impressive network of African American educators
• Discount of 50% on the exhibition fee at the MMABSE Annual Fall Conference
• Discount of 50% on advertising rates in the annual conference program

• Opportunity to distribute MMABSE approved copies of information that you have prepared regarding your institution in the packets or folders for two MMABSE events
