                             BURNS-STARMS

               SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

The Burns - Starms Scholarship was established to honor the two founding members of  MMABSE. Cloyce Burns and Robert Starms cultivated a vision, through which the MMABSE organization, was to motivate, encourage and assist African American students towards excellence in education. It is MMABSE's duty as stewards and members of this organization to encourage high achievement and celebrate the accomplishments of our community’s youth.  The winners of this year’s awards reflect the talent, diversity and high level of achievement for which Milwaukee is recognized throughout the nation. They have studied hard, served their community, and now it is time for them to collect what will surely be only one of many awards in their academic lives.
